Free Compliments

At many colleges today you can start a club or organization for viritually anything. A club that caught my eye at one university is the "Free Hug" club. Each Friday a pack of students stands in the center of campus with signs that read things like, "Free Hugs - One Size Fits All!" or "Got Hugs?" Without fail, these students will be out there in rain, snow, or sky-high temperatures with smiles on their faces. Initially, the idea of a "Free Hug" may seem ridiculous or boarderline creepy, but when you think about it, it's not very common in the working world to find a group of people willing to donate and dedicate a portion of their personal time simply to enrich someone else's day.

With that in mind, this past weekend a group of people in North Hampton, MA continued to extend the importance of a random act of kindness via a truck adversiting "Free Compliments"
When's the last time you were offered a free compliment?
While the beautiful sunshine in Avon, CT today may be enough to keep you smiling on this Monday, some other people might need a compliment or maybe even a hug. Remember, they're free and everybody loves them....
